Bloodwork for HRT at Next Level Longevity Clinic

No Guesswork. Just Data-Driven Care.

Blood testing service is essential to what we do at Next Level Longevity Clinic. When it comes to your health, we don’t believe in guesswork. Providing adequate blood tests helps us tailor hormone replacement therapy specifically to your needs. This ensures you receive not only the right, but also the appropriate medication in form and dosage.

We require lab work before we schedule your first telehealth visit. Our at-home finger-prick testing HRT blood tests are similar to any normal blood test. Recent blood work completed within the last 30 days may be accepted. We then have our lab experts analyze your results so we can continue with the appropriate protocol.

Next Level Longevity Clinic Your Sexual Confidence.

Why Bloodwork is Essential Before Starting HRT

To ensure you receive the correct protocol, a baseline of current hormone levels is needed. Blood tests allow us to measure specific biomarkers. These biomarkers provide us with an accurate reflection of your current hormonal health.

Personalized Treatment Approach

The results from your blood test provide our experts with the data needed to match your goals to the relevant treatment. This ensures you are getting the correct and appropriate medication to assess factors like low testosterone symptoms.

Adjustments and Monitoring

Regular blood tests help our team of healthcare experts to monitor and adjust the protocol if needed. This helps us ensure the success of your treatment in maintaining an optimal testosterone range.

Safety and Effectiveness

By tracking biomarkers, we can ensure that HRT is not only effective but also safe, minimizing potential side effects and preventing hormone levels from becoming excessively high.

Bloodwork Panels Offered at Next Level Longevity Clinic

Testosterone Level Test

A testosterone test measures the amount of the male hormone, testosterone, in the blood. This hormone is also present in females. It is an essential hormone for sex drive, muscle mass, fertility, and mood. This test can also identify underlying conditions related to bone density and hypogonadism.

DHEA Level Test

A DHEA test measures the levels of dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate (DHEAS) present in the blood. The body converts DHEAS into androgens (testosterone and androstenedione) and estrogen. Irregular levels of DHEA may indicate a number of health concerns.

Estradiol Levels Test

An estradiol test measures the levels of the estradiol hormone present in the blood. Estradiol is the main form of the sex hormone known as estrogen. It plays an important role in sexual development.

Vitamin B12 & Folate Test

The Vitamin B12 and Folate Test helps detect possible vitamin deficiencies by measuring blood levels of vitamin B12 and folate. Fatigue, weakness, or anaemia may be signs of a folate or B12 deficiency.

CBC Levels Test

CBC is a complete blood count test. This test monitors various conditions or treatments that may affect your blood cell counts. Including infections, anemia, immune system disorders, and blood cancers.

CMP Levels Test

CMP is a comprehensive metabolic panel test. This blood test helps to determine the levels of electrolytes (like potassium and sodium) and fluid balance. This test can also accurately measure the status of the body’s metabolism, kidney and liver health, blood glucose, and blood protein.

PSA Test

A PSA test checks the level of prostate-specific antigen (PSA) in the blood. PSA is a protein that your prostate gland makes. Normal and cancerous prostate tissue make PSA. High levels may be a sign of a prostate condition.

Lipid Panel (Includes Total Cholesterol, HDL, LDL, and Triglycerides)

A lipid panel is a blood test that measures the amount of fat molecules. These are called lipids and are found throughout your blood. The panel includes four different cholesterol measurements and a measurement of your triglycerides. This test helps predict your risk for heart disease and stroke.

Prolactin Test

A prolactin test measures the amount of prolactin in the body. This is produced by the pituitary gland, and its main role is to stimulate breast milk production following childbirth. Prolactin also contributes to reproductive health and plays a role in regulating other hormones.

IGF-1 Test

The IGF-1 blood test measures levels of Insulin-like Growth Factor 1. This is a key hormone involved in childhood growth and continues to support tissue repair and metabolic function as we age. This test offers a reliable way to assess how well the body is producing and responding to growth hormone.

SHBG Test

SHBG, or sex hormone binding globulin, helps regulate hormone levels, impacting everything from fertility to metabolism. This test determines the amount of SHBG in the blood and is typically used to assess if you have too much or too little testosterone.

Additional Test

Next Level Longevity Clinic is happy to include any additional tests to maximize the success of your evaluation. This can contribute to additional accuracy or identifying any other areas of improvement.
